Smile Volunteer experience in SF Bay Area?

I'm new to SF and am thinking seriously about applying for an M.A.TOSEL program. But...since I have no professional experience teaching English learners, I would like to volunteer first.

Does anyone have any suggestions for organizations in SF where I could get some experience?

Thanks!

Default Volunteering in the SF Bay Area

Refugee Transitions always needs volunteers and I just heard that the East Bay Korean-American Senior Center in Oakland needs volunteers as their funding has been cut: contact Joanna Kim-Selby at jselby951@earthlink.net
